Do something big and reckless with us

Do something big and reckless with us

Let's go for broke... without going broke.

If you’re anything like us, you might have attempted to find good, ethical sportswear. Even if you know your way through the backstreets of the internet, it’s about as hard to chase down as the 4 minute mile.

And if you then try to find affordable, ethical sportswear… well, we’re not sure that’s ever been done before.

So today, we’re putting together a team to do something big and reckless.

This is a direct challenge to the sportswear giants. And we’re probably in way over our heads.

But that’s what sport is all about, isn’t it – looking foolish to do something great. Taking on giants on the court, track and field.

And if you’ve ever watched a sports film ever, you know not to underestimate a scrappy, sweaty group in a small-time locker room. They might not be all-stars, but they’ve got a chance.

And with you, we have got a chance of pulling this off.

We might be looking back on this locker-room moment in a few years when the sportswear industry is changing. When good conditions, good materials and good wages are how things are simply done – and they’re done really affordably.

And for us, we’re going to start the same way we started Yes Friends – by proving that ethical can be affordable.

“I don’t know how you’re doing this.” That’s what one of London’s Top 30 personal trainers said as she wore our new sports tee and heard the price tag.

So how are we doing this? Because you backed us.

Four years ago we released our first ethical, sustainably-made T-shirt for the price of a pint in London – and we sold four thousand in a month. With just a bit of scale, we found ethical can be affordable.

It’s been four years, a load more products and 900+ five star reviews later, and now we’ve come full circle.

Made of recycled polyester. Quick drying. And enough stretch to hold up under whatever regime you have planned – even if you’re somehow doing the Tour de France and playing Wimbledon at the same time.

This T-shirt comes with all the usual qualities you know from Yes Friends: Ethical, certified, solar assisted factory, and good wages paid to garment workers.

Because if we tried doing something great without doing something good, it wouldn’t really feel like a win.

So garment workers will be part of any success – and you can tip them directly through our bonus scheme.

If this team wins, we all win.

And if you missed our first launch four years ago, today is your chance to be at the beginning again.

You’ll have full boasting rights to say “I bought the first ever YF. Sport T-shirts.”

But you don’t want to stop there…

The shorts have got a classic drawstring waistband and are woven with our signature flaming hot orange thread. Perfect for marathons, five-a-sides, or taking part in the Pogopalooza (the world’s largest pogo stick race, in case you didn’t know).

After today, YF. Sport will stop for a breather…and then in a few months, we’ll release YF. Sport recycled compression leggings. They’re just going through one final design update because that top London PT told us how they could fit even better (she’s also the model in the photoshoot here by the way!).

So let’s go for broke without going broke.

If it fails, it fails.

If it succeeds, just about anything might happen next.

And if you want to be there for it then…

WELCOME TO THE TEAM
