Last week we went to London during London Fashion Week. Strutting our stuff on the runway. Making an avant-garde statement with our organic cotton sweats, hoodies and new joggers.
Pretty sure no-one has ever pulled off a look like this at London Fashion Week before.
*Cue record scratch*
Okay. None of that happened. We were in London. During London Fashion Week. But not for any runways or merchandising or parties.
We went for breakfast.
It was a free breakfast. It did require buying a train ticket to London. At a price so steep that our founder Sam very nearly didn’t go.
But after a little persuading, Sam reluctantly agreed to go on an adventure to Somerset House, a big-ass London building that really couldn’t look any more London if it tried.
There he sat down next to a plate barely visible beneath a massive croissant. And some big folks from Fairtrade and fashion.
We can’t tell you exactly what happened just yet. But we can tell you exciting things are happening soon. A chance for the stuff Yes Friends has been doing with garment workers to go beyond Yes Friends.
Transforming the fashion industry is happening, friends.
One of you reviewing our hoodies recently reminded us exactly why we do this:
“We live near the poverty line here in the US and to be able to afford to support workers making ethical clothing and advancing the organic movement in India is priceless....” - Robert
Making ethical affordable is about making this a movement we can all be part of.
And it also means we get to enjoy prices so unbelievable, it feels a bit like stealing but without the criminal record. And our new hoodies, sweats and joggers are definitely worth putting in your bag of swag.
For the harsh conditions of Venice...

If you’re struggling to prepare for the Venice forecast (roughly 22-25 degrees centigrade for the next two weeks), reviewer Samuel E. recommends our sweatshirts.
“A pleasant warmth even during harsh conditions.”
– Samuel, Venice, Italy
The organic cotton of our joggers, sweats and hoodies are all brushed on the inside, which makes them,“super duper cozy” in Samuel’s words. Ideal for when you’re stuck in the harsh conditions of Venice. Or maybe the snowstorms of Barbados…
01. The Relaxed Sweatshirt
Our sweatshirts are made with heavyweight 380gsm organic cotton so luxurious it made Sharon from Bracknell say “wooow” with three o’s, and Maddie Hester said “You must buy it!!!” with three exclamation marks. The brushed cotton will give you more warm-and-fuzzies than we can count.
SAY WOOOW
02. Joggers
Our joggers are so clean they’re classy. Like you own an L.A. mansion or dabble in illegal parkour on the roof of someone else’s L.A. mansion.
Three pockets so you can smuggle your own personal snacks past those signs that say “only consume food bought on the premises.”

03: Hoodies
Our hoodies were the second thing we ever released, back in the days when we staged a fake press conference with a naked man. It’s a long story. Actually it’s a 2 minutes and 9 second story you can find on YouTube. But that’s by the by.
Our hoodies are the socially acceptable equivalent of dragging your duvet with you when you eventually need to leave the house. Reviewer Fjodor Groenewegen says it “still looks brand new after a year of wearing it,” while Samuel from Bath said he intended to wear it during his construction industry work, but didn’t because it was just “too nice!”
