You know those rainy autumn days where the sky looks like an unwashed dishrag?
Yes you do, Pascal.
When everyone is dressed like they’re performing in a German expressionist film.
You know what we mean, Pascal.
You’re desperate for colours and brightness, as bold as a character piece from Cluedo.
But Yes Friends haven’t given you what you want.
We keep releasing things in pine green and dark navy. And pastels you told us belong to 1950s hipsters sipping milkshakes in a diner.
Pascal, Pascal, Pascal. Until recently, we didn’t know who was behind anonymous requests like this...
“I want to be visible from space. I want toddlers to point at me in awe. I want pigeons to land on me thinking I'm a parrot.”
And this...
“I am hereby placing a formal demand for… A mustard sweater (so I can be mistaken for a very chic hot dog). A cactus green sweater (because plants are thriving and so should I). A burgundy red sweater (for the drama, the depth, the 'I drink wine on Tuesdays' energy).”
All we knew was that you were from Germany, until you – we assume it must be you – left us a review with your name attached.
“Love your t-shirts' quality and recommend them to everyone I see, even strangers with bad looks. The only thing I'm missing: Sweaters and t-shirts with cool colors like mustard yellow or cactus green! Go for it, people will love it. Promise, and I will talk to even more strangers.” – Pascal, Germany
We have good news and bad news, Pascal.
The bad news: mustard yellow and cactus green are off the menu for now.
The good news: we finally released the burgundy red sweater you wanted.
Admittedly, it’s deep burgundy. But we think it still has, as you put it, “the drama, the depth, the ‘I drink wine on Tuesdays’ energy.”
It pops next to our new organic cotton fleece (in pine green, because some of our ways haven’t changed), and the one and only Captain the dog. We think he’d like you, Pascal...
All made by garment workers paid good wages. Except for Captain. He was made by two other labradors that loved each other very much.
Our new quarter zip was brushed on the inside to create pyjama-level comfort. With a funnel neck adding a dash of smartness to the whole thing – a milkshake in a martini glass.
Drink it down in burgundy (if you’re Pascal) or deep navy if you prefer a little restraint.

As for that organic cotton fleece…
If organic cotton was a religion, you might wear this on pilgrimage. For hiking on frosty mornings, casual office wear (at least here at Yes Friends), and slipping on autumn leaves with abandon, knowing heavy duty cotton will cushion the fall.
A refined version of the original cotton fleece Craig W called “an absolute belter”, it now comes with a popper neck and a contrast ripstop front pocket, along with two side pockets for cold hands and snacks.
