Two new pyjama sets

Two new pyjama sets

We’re releasing two new sets of pyjamas today, especially for when the night doesn’t go to plan.

Maybe you rocked up to a music festival, only to find you’d accidentally bought a kid’s size sleeping bag. It barely came up to your chest. You wrapped a Sainsbury-own-brand towel around your head to try and make up the difference, but your skull was still exposed enough to freeze on the thin tent floor.

Or maybe you were working silly long hours in your new corporate job, typing figures into spreadsheets, and your colleagues were coping by having competitions to see who could take the longest nap in the loo.

But when you finally crashed at 1am, your head was still buzzing and on the verge of an existential crisis, and you had to quiet your whirring mind with a podcast about the history of trains.

Or maybe you simply have a newborn. Nights rarely go quite to plan with a newborn.

At Yes Friends collectively, we’ve experienced all of these things, and we figured, you might as well be dressed well when they happen. We’ve got two sets that might help – all cut & sewn by garment workers paid good wages in a solar assisted factory.

SEE THE PYJAMAS

Accidental postpartum pyjamas...

Our Tencel™️ pyjamas are returning – now with shorts in the same soft organic jersey fabric.

They’re made for those unpredictable summer nights when you need material that’s magically “cool when it’s hot, warm when it’s cold” as reviewer Margarita P. says.

Even if Goldilocks was an insomniac, she’d say these pyjamas are ‘just right’.

And we had no idea it would be the case, but Emma B. tells us these pyjamas are great for postpartum nights with a newborn, since there’s “no awkward double layers or funky clips that you are scrambling to rearrange in the middle of the night.”

She says, “They are my favourite things to lounge around the house in when I’ve had a sleepless night. They make me feel trendy even when I’m puffy… AND they have pockets.”

Get them in Lagoon Blue for when you need an extra dosage of R&R.

STAY COOL

Beachwear disguised as pyjamas / pyjamas disguised as beachwear...

Shh, our second set of pyjamas are only pyjamas by night. It’s their secret (okay, not so secret) identity.

By day, you’ve got ocean-breezy shorts you can wear with anything. Or a lightweight shirt you can wear with anything. Together they make for a full beachwear outfit.

At night, they transform (note: they don’t actually transform) and assume their secret identity as pyjamas.

Made from organic cotton-poplin so light it almost hovers, with a big, soft cuban collar that says, “get me a Pina Colada and make sure you put in one of those little umbrellas.”
