Next week, on Thursday at 8pm on BBC One, something huge is happening. Even bigger than the time Sam first achieved a handstand.
We’re walking into the Den of Dragons’ Den (for our US friends, it’s like the UK’s Shark Tank).
Exactly what happened is still under wraps, but we can tell you we went to Manchester to a BBC studio to pitch Yes Friends to five multi-millionaires, and it’s going live on national TV next week.
We can’t tell you the outcome.
There’s a number now saved on our phone affectionately named “Fire from Dragons’ Den.” The person on the end of that phone tells us what we can and can’t say. And what we can say is minimal.
For a year and a half, we’ve been talking in hushed whispers and code. Like we’ve been planning a surprise birthday party, or a surprise birthday party with no cake and party poppers and a deflated crowd – because who knows how this thing is going to go down?
Are we going to be eaten alive...?

Facing the Dragons is a scary prospect.
We make ethical affordable by having a business model with small margins. What will the Dragons think of that?
Maybe they’ll think: But what about the profits?
Maybe they’ll say: Exactly who thought this was a good business idea?
Or maybe they’ll all say: Count us in and here’s a bajillion dollars to change the fashion industry.
We couldn’t possibly speculate.
Even if it’s a disaster, we’re grateful to have you here for it.
Whether you’ve been with us from the start, or only since yesterday, you chose to transform the fashion industry with us before we became famous, or infamous, on national television.
Fancy watching what happens next?
