You're giving out better gifts than Santa... 

And because you’ve got behind us so much this year, we could afford a Christmas present to the Yes Friends team.

And you might not understand how much this means to us.

When we launched Yes Friends four years ago, we had a dream and almost nothing else. 

And then you bought 4,000 T-shirts in a month, so this dream could get off the ground.  

We were doing things makeshift...

Our fashion models were friends doing us a favour. And for a season we were shipping products from Sam’s basement. 

For a time we didn’t have an office. 

There were times we wore coats and blankets at work in the absence of reliable heating. 

For a while we drank slightly dodgy tap water to quench our thirst. 

And for a while we didn’t need a fridge because for four months of the year our entire office was a fridge.

You kept us going.

And after years of just about making ends meet, we’ve finally reached what feels like a new era.

We didn’t know if we’d be able to bring back denim for the first time in three years – but you made it happen.

And we didn’t know our swishy new linen would vanish faster than all the good chocolates disappeared from our office’s selection box.

And we didn’t know how much of a difference you’d make to garment workers…. but together we raised over £12,000.

But what we really wanted to tell you is that we’ve just received the best gift that might have ever been given.

We’ve got a brand new mini-fridge.

And the multipack of diet coke that was once stored in lukewarm conditions on the office floor… well it’s never tasted so good.

Thanks to you, we’re changing the fashion industry one launch at a time. Ethical is becoming affordable. And now, we can drink a cool beer at the end of the day too.

So thank you, thank you, thank you.

We could never have got this far without you. And we can’t wait to tell you more about what’s coming (it’s all very exciting) in 2026.

We’re going to take a little break now – we’ve got plans to devour Christmas pudding and watch slightly-average films set in snowy Manhattan. We also need to prove to one of our international friends that the British roast dinner is the peak of human cuisine.
